Michael A. Yamin, PhD
Director, Technology Development
Dr. Yamin received his B.S. in bacteriology from the University of California, Davis, and a Ph.D. from The Rockefeller University.
After postdoctoral experience at Boston University's marine biology program and at Rockefeller University, he participated in the founding of Alteon Inc., a spin-out from Rockefeller University focused on complications of diabetes and aging, and served as Vice President and Scientific Director from 1988 to 1994.
After positions in licensing and non-profit fundraising, he joined the patent law firm of Klauber & Jackson, and became a patent agent specializing in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics patents.
He was then recruited to join an immunotherapeutics start-up company, Mojave Therapeutics, as director of intellectual property and licensing, prior to joining Warren Pharmaceuticals.
